Current Green Elected Officials

Colorado has 6 Green elected officeholders:

  • Jeffrey Bergeron, Breckenridge Town Council
  • Art Goodtimes, County Commissioner, San Miguel County
  • Scott Chaplin, Board of Trustees, Carbondale
  • Wendy Mimiaga, Town Board, Dolores (Cortez)
  • Matt Kefauver, City Council, Cortez
  • Charlie Green, District E, Board of Education, Fremont County School district RE-3 (Cotopaxi)

There are now 220 Greens holding office in 28 states and the District of Columbia, from California to Maine, Florida to Alaska. Greens hold offices that include mayors, city council members, county commissioners, and members of school, fire, water, hospital, rent and other boards. More than 400 Greens ran for office in 2006 and 2007. In 2004, Green presidential candidate David Cobb and vice-presidential running mate Pat LaMarche were on the ballot in 28 states including Colorado.
